ABOUT

What is the Rural Utah Data Symposium?

The Rural Utah Data Symposium is designed to provide rural leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders with an in-depth understanding of the latest economic research and data pertinent to rural communities in Utah. The symposium features a series of expert-led presentations that explore various critical aspects of rural life, including economic trends, labor market dynamics, healthcare, housing, and broadband access, with the aim of offering comprehensive analysis and actionable insights. This event serves as a platform for discussing challenges, sharing best practices, and fostering collaboration among participants committed to the prosperity of rural Utah.

We will focus on Utah’s rural economy using the latest research and data specific to Utah’s rural communities and regions. The symposium includes an overview of the latest economic and demographic trends across rural communities and an examination of rural healthcare, housing, and broadband. Presentations will include what rural communities can do to support economic growth and development.
