Nathan Wiggins

Nathan Wiggins was born and raised in rural Utah and has a strong connection to his hometown of New Harmony. Growing up in a small town was the spark for his love of the outdoors and his value of rural communities. Nathan’s interest in analytical and operational science began at a very early stage in his life. By the age of 8, Nathan had already developed a proficiency with Microsoft Excel, and used it for various projects, including tracking his allowance income, creating an inventory of the books in his bookshelf, and simulating random test scores for his stuffed animals who were his students when he played school. Nathan currently works as the lead Data Analyst and Assistant Director of Operations for the Utah Center for Rural Health at Southern Utah University, and specializes in developing data organization systems, advanced regression analysis, and mathematical optimization and simulation modeling.
