Ben Crabb is the Chief Economist for the Utah Department of Workforce Services, leading a team to analyze and communicate labor market trends. In this role, he provides insights into workforce dynamics that guide regional policy and planning.

Prior to joining the state, he worked as a researcher at Utah State University, and for a manufacturing firm in Northern Utah.

Ben specializes in transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights for the public and stakeholders. He holds master’s degrees from Utah State University in Bioregional Planning and Applied Economics.
